CardioSync

Heart rate & HRV estimation from facial video using RPPG + RBCG fusion

What are these?
EA Recommended
Ensemble Averaging — Averages the color-change (rPPG) and motion-based (rBCG) signals together. Simple, fast, and reliable in most conditions.
Best for: general use, good lighting
PCA
Principal Component Analysis — Projects both signals onto principal axes and picks the component with the strongest cardiac rhythm. Better at rejecting noise.
Best for: noisy environments, slight movement
ICA
Independent Component Analysis — Separates the signals into statistically independent sources and selects the most heart-like one. Most advanced separation.
Best for: mixed lighting, complex scenes
